Golfing in Lorraine
Golfers of all levels will find a stimulating variety of playing conditions and landscaping on Lorraine's golf courses, with something for everyone. Lorraine boasts a collection of 16 quality golf courses that are constantly well maintained. Faulquemont, 35 km from Metz and Sarrebrûck, in a 70 hectare verdant setting, the 18-hole course and compact course both contain challenges such as water hazards. The course offers a pleasing round of golf and is suitable for players of all levels. A number of tuition courses are available ranging from beginner's lessons to lessons designed to improve your handicap. Metz’s, the 18-hole golf course, just 10 minutes from the city centre, offers something a little different with its original triangular lakes and pyramids. It is a technical yet not too complex course, suitable for players of all levels. A putting green, two practise greens and a 6-hole compact course provide beginners with ideal conditions in which to improve their game.
