All sorts of horse riding are on offer from many different levels of ease and difficulty. Family and group beginner excursions are very common. Those more experienced will not be disappointed with as many trails among the volcanoes for horses as those for cycling. In Forez, you could be crossing streams and climbing to heights over 1,500 metres on horseback. There are also pony and horse schooling available for those keen to learn and improve.
