Opal LightOpal Light is 800,000 years old. The rolling plane caved in and metres the North Sea and the Channel surged into the passage. Now, on the other side of the submerged valley the English coast forms a white barrier visible to the naked eye. The beaches stretch for 140 km and are made of fine sand, an opal colour blended with the emerald of the waves. Opal Light Dunes stretch inland despite the lyme grass. A highly iodated, bracing wind, which helps you sleep like a log, chases away the clouds from the west. The dream like landscapes has been immortalised since the 19th Century by the painters of the Berck School.
