Lake Vassivière is the largest lake in the High-Vienna area. It offers six supervised beaches with a range of accommodation close by – rural lodgings, camp-sites, and a holiday village.
Make the most of this lake – try pedal boating, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, windsurfing and water skiing.
The area also features a centre of contemporary art with a sculpture park. It also hosts the annual festival of the Tale.
In addition to its beaches, Lake Vassivière offers many other activities, including a riding school, tennis, and miniature golf and cycle circuits.
Fishing is also popular in this area, with pike, pike perch, pole and trout readily available.
