The Saut du Doubs Waterfall

Listed as a 3-star "Grand Site National", Saut du Doubs and its natural pools are some of the most remarkable locations in the entire region.

Through the Morteau Valley, the River Doubs flows sleepily. It flows into Lake Chaillexon, which stands below some enormous cliffs, before leaving via a fantastic 27-metre high fall!

The easiest way to discover the site is to take a seat aboard one of the comfortable river boats that will take you along the gently curving river, before crossing Lake Chaillexon.
