Chenonceau (www.chenonceau.com) is, after Versailles, the most visited French castle. Aside from the visit to the castle, the chateau de Chenonceau provides a large range of activities and services like: a gastronomic restaurant l'Orangerie, a buffet restaurant, a tea room, the Ladies Galery (wax museum) and sailing in small boats during summer months. You can also discovery the vegetable garden, the 16th century farm and the flower workshop where incredible flower displays are created and displayed in the castle.

For CHRISTMAS, Chenonceau is vowing for a more beautiful world with its floral arrangements* portraying the colours of peace.
The château of Chenonceau, has for the last thirty years been a strong representative of Art in all its forms, and as recently as this summer housed part of Unesco’s collections offering a contemporary testimony of its humanist commitment.
An exceptional site is what Chenonceau has become through its destiny; built, loved, governed and protected by women who have marked History. This feminine imprint is present everywhere, safeguarding the château from conflicts and wars, making it a haven of peace and serenity.
And Chenonceau wishes to share this commitment for peace with all its visitors from the whole world over coming especially for the Christmas celebrations.
From 8th December to 3rd January, Chenonceau will be radiant in white and gold: Doves, angels, fir trees, bouquets, symbols and messages of peace in all languages will turn the « Ladies’ Château » into an emblem of harmony.
Chenonceau places gentleness and beauty at the heart of its universal message of peace, to remain the château of noble minds it has always been.
The musical quartet ‘Quatuor Thélème’ will be present for the week-ends of 19th and 26th December, as well as for the week-end of 2nd January, from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., to accompany visitors with traditional Christmas carols.
