Water, Water, Everywhere in Limousin

In this land of tranquil lakes and fast-flowing rivers, water sports and activities are ever-popular, providing fun and adventure for all the family.

Sailing and water-skiing, rowing and waterslides can be found at many of Limousin’s lakes.

Canyoning and rafting are also popular, but are not always possible in the height of summer.

Canoeing (easier) and kayaking (more technically demanding) are hugely popular on the Dordogne, Vézère and Corrèze areas. Visitors keen to take to the water should contact one of the fifteen or so specialist canoeing/kayaking companies and hire outlets dotted around the region.
